When it seems like Josuke is a little more calm he gives him a whole body squeeze, just for emphasis. A little punctuation mark to quietly reassure him that Okuyasu is serious.
And then he's suddenly pinned under Josuke and blinks up at him, like he's not sure how this just happened. He manages to hold onto him still, relaxing his grip but not letting go all the way so that he flops back onto the other, favored pillow. That can't be it, can it? Is this like the family stuff that's okay but not really okay? Or should Okuyasu trust in the look Josuke is giving him despite his reddened eyes and just go with it for now--they're both here and in one piece, so it must be alright.
